Kerry Henley – Head of School & Children’s House Teacher

The Malta Montessori School which was established in 2006 is owned and operated by Kerry Henley. Kerry received her 3-6 Primary AMS Montessori Certification in 2004 after completing her training at the Center for Montessori Education/ NY. Previous to that Kerry was a Middle School and High School Social Studies Teacher in the Capital District and New York City after receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in and Master’s Degree in Education from the State University at Albany.  This year Kerry is stepping back into the classroom as a teacher in one of our Children’s House classrooms. She is excited to return to the classroom and work with the children more closely every day. Kerry’s hobby is keeping busy traveling around the world with her husband and two sons.

We are located in Malta Commons, on Rt. 67 at exit 12. From the traffic circle on route 67, take a left at the T and then a right into the parking lot. We are the first location on the corner and have a wooden fenced in playground out front.
